I'm Closing the Website and going BACK to ETSY!

Happy Saturday Everyone!  I will not bore you with all the disappointing administrative details when it comes to why I have decided to close the website and move everything to ETSY.  In all honesty I'm am actually very heart broken over this because I really LOVE the way my website looks!  However just because something is pretty on the outside doesn't mean it is pretty on the inside!  FIRST OF ALL there are no security issues or privacy issues or anything like that so don't fret!  It is strictly administrative reasons that I've decided to go back to ETSY.

I would like to point out that the straw that broke this camels back was when I noticed this morning that several of my listings on my website are gone!  I have no idea what happened or how they dissappeared but they did.  This happened about 3-4 weeks ago and I just assumed it was a user error and I did something that caused them to dissappear.  I KNOW this is not the case now!  So, I've decided that enough is enough and while ETSY may not be perfect it is where I have always been and where you've always been able to find me and your favorite products so I'm sticking with what I know best and that is ETSY!

So as of October 31st (just 4 days from now) the website will be closed and the ETSY Shop will be full of everything!  I warn you though, there will be an overwhelming amount of products in my shop!!!  This may actually be a good thing though!  :)

The reason I am not waiting longer is because website maintenance fees are due on the 1st and I would rather not waste my hard earned money right now!

Busy Busy Busy - Just the way I like it!

In the past two weeks, I have been crazy busy getting ready for the big 2-Day show this past weekend and filling orders, working on new things that I have been totally neglecting my blog!  So, I thought I'd pop in over here and give you a heads up on what I've got planned and what's going on for the next few weeks!

I recently closed the Etsy Shop, but I've decided that within the next few days, I will re-open it as a "Sample Shop".  I'll be carrying everything in sample sized containers in the Etsy Shop as well as some specialty items, gift sets and overstock.  The Website will be where all Full-Sized products are carried as well as regular items and pretty much all the above as well! 

With the holidays fast approaching I will be stocking both sites with numerous things over the next few weeks!!  I'm very excited about this year, I have loads of fun ideas!

Here's a look at my to-do list for the next 7-10 days:
   
Regular Work Load Items:

• Unpack and inventory remaining craft show items (haven't had time for that yet! :/ )
• Clean/Oraganize studio and office (A bomb went off last week in both rooms and someone should call hazmat cause it's bad!)
• Place a few orders for supplies
• Photograph/List missing products for Website
• List Gift Sets on both sites
• Restock the Etsy Shop with new goodies for everyone to try
• Add new Fall Soaps to the site

NEW Things I want to work on this week:

• Bubble Bar recipes (all the supplies arrived last week but I was too busy to play with them)
• Shimmering Body Lotion recipe (Inspired by a friends suggestion this weekend I'm going to make some this week! Think Glitter Hands!)
• Sparkling Lip Balm (Glitter Lips YAY!)
• New Whipped Cream Soaps
• I want to create single listings for the Bath Bombs as well!  But I have to make all new Bath Bombs because I sold them all this weekend :)

I think there was more but I can't remember!  Oh well - I love a busy and full week!  What does everyone else have planned for this week?  Anyone going for pumpkins yet?  We have plans to go out on Saturday with my whole family to pick pumpkins and apples at the orchard like we do every year!!  I'm so excited!!! :)
