ATTENTION Bath Cube/Bath Bomb users.....

A few months ago, I switched from making Bath Bombs like these:

To making Bath Cubes like these:

And I am wondering what your opinion is? If you have used both products, which one did you prefer? I used the same recipe but only changed the shape.

I'm asking because recently I did a craft show that I've done for the past 4 years, and for the 3 previous years I practically sold out of Bath Bombs everytime! This year however, I only sold 4 sets of Bath Cubes. So I'm curious to know if it's the shape and size that have thrown people off or if they just didn't know what they were. The 2 people that bought them thought they were small soaps at first.

Personally, I liked the bath bombs better. I'm not exactly sure why. I think I felt more moisturized with the bath bombs than I did after using the one set of bath cubes that I've purchased (I have no idea why since you used the same recipe). I'm sure that is not why the bath cubes were slow to move at your craft show though...maybe you are right in that people didn't know what they were?

I absolutely love the square bomns. What we've done is make them smaller and package 10- 12 in a contaimer that will fit them. Probably a 10-12oz container. We personally use frosted glass 12 oz containe. On the label we obviuosly talk about what makes them special over the many bath bombs inthe current market. The shape we use is a rectangular one from ice cube containers. They look beautiful in the packaging and in how small they are. They harken back to early 1900's when the English were using theae types.of "cubes" in their baths. I love the shape. I would however make sure that you have both round and square and put them together somehow in a package. I'm not sure how younsell them but if you put them in a cello bag (both ends opened) wrapped each bomb in a beautiful foil (each a different color) and placed the square one in the middle it would be adorable! Then people would start equating them with bath bombs. People are so use to seeing the same round ones. If you didnt have a bit of resistance id be shocked! Usually for me and my products it means you have a hit on your have and have to give the public enoigh time to catch up. But I would think buying three with two rounds as.a bookend to a square bath bomb would be the bomb!(Pun intended!) Good luck! Just remember most good ideas come with some resistance. Most people can't think outside the preverbable box. So i would say bravo to you! And make both to sell and keepnit up! Because they look very special!

I love english bath cubes which are kinda like bombs but smaller, my problem is you can't find them anymore and when you do they are priced outragously. I am trying to figure out how to make them because I like using them when taking baths and lol I take a lot of baths

I love to use bath bombs and i buy every month for my shower but i never try to make the bombs at home. Because i think before wasting time you should go and waste the money and save time. But now after reading your above article, i realize that we should try once at home to make them for the shower. Because this is so easy to make and you make them as per your need. Thanks for sharing this kind of article keep posting.
