First and foremost, I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day and have many, many reasons to be thankful! That brings me to my next point, this year I am truly thankful for my job and all of the amazing people I have met in the past year! I feel very blessed to have been able to take on the STW line and begin some new product adventures and NON of this would have been possible without all of you! Vegan Deodorants: Did you know......
Do you need another reason why our Vegan Deodorant Sticks are amazing? Well, here's one I completely failed to tell you about!
I use a bio-based propylene glycol which is typically derived from soy bean or corn!
The manufactorer creates a renewable, biobased propylene glycol that meets USP and USDA Certified Biobased Product Label standards. It has also earned the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label, ensuring the product contains 100% biobased content.
This particular propylene glycol has been utilized in our deodorant since December 2011.

Hurricane Sandy effects my suppliers.......
I've received notice yesterday and today that some of my suppliers are unable to fill certain product orders due to their manufacturers being affected by Hurricane Sandy. Some are without power still and cannot fill/process supply orders at all.
I do not know how long it will be before they are back up and running and shipping supplies to my suppliers or even what ingredients/supplies will be out of stock yet. I have been told that numerous fragrances *MAY* run out of stock and could be out of stock for quite some time.
One product for sure that will not be making it's debut on the 12th is the Bubble Bars I have been raving about for weeks. I'm told that the ingredients I ordered last week will not be arriving until the 14th at the earliest. So, unfortunately, it will be around the the 21st -25th before Bubble Bars are listed in the shop :(
As for fragrances, I cannot order them from anyone else as they are not all created equal. I do have a enough for now but I'm not sure how long they will last or if they do run out, when they will be back in stock.
I'm giving everyone a heads up that it could be weeks before things get moving again so if there is a particular scent that you are almost out of or were thinking of ordering, you may want to grab it now while it is in stock.
I will be going through the site this evening and pulling any items that are not physically in stock right now as well as posting any that are in stock and not listed.

I'm Closing the Website and going BACK to ETSY!
Happy Saturday Everyone! I will not bore you with all the disappointing administrative details when it comes to why I have decided to close the website and move everything to ETSY. In all honesty I'm am actually very heart broken over this because I really LOVE the way my website looks! However just because something is pretty on the outside doesn't mean it is pretty on the inside! FIRST OF ALL there are no security issues or privacy issues or anything like that so don't fret! It is strictly administrative reasons that I've decided to go back to ETSY.
I would like to point out that the straw that broke this camels back was when I noticed this morning that several of my listings on my website are gone! I have no idea what happened or how they dissappeared but they did. This happened about 3-4 weeks ago and I just assumed it was a user error and I did something that caused them to dissappear. I KNOW this is not the case now! So, I've decided that enough is enough and while ETSY may not be perfect it is where I have always been and where you've always been able to find me and your favorite products so I'm sticking with what I know best and that is ETSY!
So as of October 31st (just 4 days from now) the website will be closed and the ETSY Shop will be full of everything! I warn you though, there will be an overwhelming amount of products in my shop!!! This may actually be a good thing though! :)
The reason I am not waiting longer is because website maintenance fees are due on the 1st and I would rather not waste my hard earned money right now!

Busy Busy Busy - Just the way I like it!
In the past two weeks, I have been crazy busy getting ready for the big 2-Day show this past weekend and filling orders, working on new things that I have been totally neglecting my blog! So, I thought I'd pop in over here and give you a heads up on what I've got planned and what's going on for the next few weeks!
I recently closed the Etsy Shop, but I've decided that within the next few days, I will re-open it as a "Sample Shop". I'll be carrying everything in sample sized containers in the Etsy Shop as well as some specialty items, gift sets and overstock. The Website will be where all Full-Sized products are carried as well as regular items and pretty much all the above as well!
With the holidays fast approaching I will be stocking both sites with numerous things over the next few weeks!! I'm very excited about this year, I have loads of fun ideas!
Here's a look at my to-do list for the next 7-10 days:

- Bubble Bar recipes (all the supplies arrived last week but I was too busy to play with them)
- Shimmering Body Lotion recipe (Inspired by a friends suggestion this weekend I'm going to make some this week! Think Glitter Hands!)
- Sparkling Lip Balm (Glitter Lips YAY!)
- New Whipped Cream Soaps
- I want to create single listings for the Bath Bombs as well! But I have to make all new Bath Bombs because I sold them all this weekend :)

Fall Scents are here!
Almond
Sweet and warm roasted almonds with subtle hints of vanilla and butter.
Apples N Spice
Sweet and juicy red apples coated in a spicy blend of cinnamon and cloves.
Brown Sugar & Fig
A complex blend of fresh figs, fruits, milk, florals caramel, vanilla and musk.
Caramel Apple
Juicy red apples dipped in thick homemade caramel sauce.
Cranberry Crunch
Tart cranberries roasting in sugar, juice and spices in a crumbly buttery biscuits.
Pumpkin Pie
A delicious blend of buttery, flaky crust and sweet creamy pumpkin fabulously spiced with cinnamon, clove and rum.
Rhubarb Pie
Sweet strawberries & tart rhubarb in a buttery pie crust straight from the oven.
Spiced Orange & Clove
A spicy pairing of zesty orange peel, waves of clove with supporting notes of ginger and just a touch of cinnamon.
You will note that "Pumpkin Spice" is not on the list. I have switched it out with Pumpkin Pie because they are very similar and the supplier I was getting Pumpkin Spice from no longer carries it and I wasn't really thrilled with their substitute.
I know some were really looking forward to the Pumpkin Spice and I hope that you will find the Pumpkin Pie just are wonderful - if not more! :)
In other exciting news - Fall Shaving Bars have all been made Vegan Friendly!! :) They are still packed with Kaolin Clay to give you that extra slip your razor needs for a close shave while leaving skin smooth and soft!

OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
As most of you already know, I've been working very hard for the past few weeks on building a website. I am so excited to tell you that it is now open for business! It's been a painstaking process but every minute was worth it because the design and functionality of the site are exactly what I wanted.
The Grand Opening Sale is only good on the website and cannot be used in the Etsy Shop. However, any coupon codes that you may have that say they are good only in the Etsy Shop are now good on the new website as well AND you can combine them with the Grand Opening Sale to save even more! Please note only one coupon code works on the website at a time.
Also, I would like to point out that I currently only take Paypal on the website but if you want to pay by credit/debit card, you can do so from the Paypal page during checkout. Instead of logging into your Paypal account, just scroll down a little and click that link that says "Don't have a Paypal account?" (see below)

I can't believe it is nearly the end of August already!! This year has been a whirlwind and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon! Things have been quiet around here this week because the kids have started school again but we haven't yet adjusted to the new schedule. Hopefully next week will be better!
With Fall just around the corner, I know a lot of you are wondering when the Fall line will be in stock. Well, you'll be happy to know that I plan to start adding items in the Fall scents in about 2 weeks! So far, the following scents will be joining the club:

Things to come at RRHQ....
Happy Monday Everyone!! This post is a couple days late but that seems to be my luck as of late!! Much of the delays I'm having are from remodeling my studio and office. New countertops are going in both, organizers and much more are finally taking shape and reinforcements (my mom and grams) are coming for a few days this week.
This is all in an effort to streamline my work spaces and make production, packaging and shipping much easier and more efficient.
Once things are complete (and I get past the Farmer's Market this weekend) there will be lots of new things happening! I'm not going to give any dates yet, because I want to make sure I'm all set before I make any promises but, here are a few things to come:
*Whipped Soaps (I think I finally got the consistency down)
*Giveaways!!!! I'll be doing some on Facebook and here on the blog - they will be completely random and unexpected so make sure you are subscribed to the blog and the Facebook page! :)
*Multiples of items in stock. Now that Etsy has allowed for sellers to list quatities of more than 1 without being charged listing fees for the multiples, I plan on making and listing multiples of everything in the shop so you can purchase as many as you'd like (or at least however many are listed) without needing to get a custom listing or revised invoice!!
*SALES! Who doesn't love a sale? I'm planning a "Back to School" sale for next month and I'm trying to put together a monthly promotion for a product/scent of the month discount. More on that later though! :)

Just a quick update.....
Hi Everyone!! Just a quick note to let you all know that for now, all of our products will be available exclusively in our Etsy Shop. With school letting out, little league starting and 3 kids at home full time for the summer, it just took up too much time to maintain and promote 2 sites.
I've been adding tons of new things to the Etsy Shop and there is still lots, lots more to go! Plus, I really want to work on adding some completely new products in the next few months.

New Fragrance Category List - COMING SOON!
Since taking over the STW line, I've been racking my brain trying to figure out the best way to carry all of the fragrances from both STW and RR. With over 80 fragrances between the 2 lines it is impossible for me to keep them all in stock all the time. So the best solution to my dilemma was to create a Year Round line of 16 fragrances, a Men's Line of 7 fragrances and 4 seasonal lines (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter). Each of the seasonal categories contains 12-18 scents.
Even though the scents will only be available during the season listed, you can still contact me to make your favorite scent year round. For example, Apples N Spice is available in the Fall from September-November. It's the middle of Summer and you really love that scent and want it in a Body Mousse but it's not listed. What to do? Just e-mail or convo me and I'll make it up just for you. So you'll still be able to order your favorite scents in your favorite products but you'll just have to contact me first if they are out of season.

Rachel Rene Bath & Body's new addition.........
I'm very excited to finally let you all know that a new addition is coming to Rachel Rene Bath & Body! Jussara, the owner of Spa Therapy Works LLC on Etsy, has decided to close her shop and has offered me the opportunity to carry the entire product line including her custom scents under my brand! I'm extremely excited because STW's line is not only amazing in it's own right, it is a fresh and new product line that is different than what I currently offer! Here's a list of some of the new products coming:
Vegan Deodorants, Goat's Milk Shaving Bars, Body Mist, Silky Body Lotion (this is a lighter lotion than the Body Mousse I currently offer and comes in a bottle), a complete facial care line which includes Face Scrubs, Face Masks, Face Toners, Face Creams, and Goat's Milk Face Soaps. As well as Perfume Oil, Milk Baths, and Vegan Lip Balms!
As of January 14th, you'll start to see the bolded items above in the etsy shop and beginning the 23rd they'll be on my website! The entire product line will added to both sites by February 1st.
I'd like to thank all of STW's customers for being so gracious about the move and the warm welcome you've given me! I promise to offer you the same great products you've been getting with the amazing customer service that you deserve!
